We were completely satisfied staying at Hotel U Jezera; no over‑the‑top luxury that would make us feel out of place, a clean room, comfortable beds, and very accommodating, friendly staff. The meadow, a small playground, a 100‑meter‑away pond with a tiny beach, and a nearby bike path surrounded the hotel. It was fairly full but never crowded, making it an ideal base for a family cycling holiday.

The check‑in was quick and pleasant. I paid for breakfast on arrival. I was looking for accommodation with a 10 pm check‑in because I’d just landed in Prague and couldn’t drive another three hours at night. I liked the location too, being only a few minutes from the motorway (highway).
