“DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL!”
I was charged over 400$ for a room that normally costs 75 a night—an outrageous overcharge. The host’s trustworthiness was completely broken. I had to personally inspect the sheets because I couldn’t trust that the room was clean; I even had to go behind the host to check them. The refrigerator leaked all over the floor, and management only offered extra towels, which took four hours to provide because the staff seemed too lazy to fetch them. There were old flood marks on the upstairs walls. The railing where we stayed was rotted; leaning on it felt like it might collapse. The stairs were falling apart, concrete was exposed, and there were holes in the sidewalk where children or the elderly could fall. Drug needles were found in the bushes, trash was everywhere, and people who seemed homeless were hanging out in the parking lot, apparently using drugs. The photos on the website were outdated. A lady who apparently lives there had complained for two weeks about the refrigerator not working, but management did nothing until a maintenance man offered to buy her a new fridge out of his own money. I will take this to Motel 6 corporate and contact OSHA. If I were you, I’d stop working with these people; they’re going to ruin your ratings.
