If the quinta were in the centre of Vale de Cambra it would be better for travellers, but the location won’t stop me from staying there again!

The spot was spot on, super quiet and the view over the area was great. The room was roomy and the hotel décor had a certain charm. I was really disappointed, especially after seeing the rating on booking, the ad photos, and some reviews. For a 4‑star place the breakfast was weak, the room AC dripped water onto the floor, the towels were stained, and the biggest let‑down was that the pool was closed because the hotel hosted weddings, baptisms, etc. on weekends—something that should have been mentioned in the description so guests don’t get the wrong idea. Compared to other 4‑star hotels in Portugal or abroad, the price feels off.

The hotel offers spacious, clean rooms and the common areas have a lovely valley view. Breakfast is hearty and varied, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

The site is simply fabulous, perched on the hills above town and close to the forest, making it peaceful and quiet. It’s a pity there isn’t a restaurant nearby for dinner, but good eateries can be found in town just a seven‑minute walk away.
