Everything about it was wonderful!

The place is very pretty, set up like a resort, with an excellent pool and boat and kayak access. The staff were very attentive, pre‑check‑in communication was smooth, and check‑in and check‑out were quick and hassle‑free. The rooms are surrounded by lots of vegetation, with hammocks and a good view. The food was very good, and we were also given a one‑time use of kayaks. Everything feels a bit old, but you can see renovations underway, like a new restaurant. In our room the air conditioning made a little noise and the air deflector didn’t work, though it cooled well. Restaurant prices are somewhat high and there aren’t many alternatives nearby, unless you drive.

The place is in a good spot, but it’s still under construction.

I’ve been coming here for years, yet today the hotel looked abandoned even though they’re renovating the restaurant; the current or temporary dining area smells bad and there are bottles scattered at the entrance, service in the restaurant is poor, only the reception is decent. The room had cockroaches, bathroom fixtures were in bad shape, the TV barely shows any channels, so you could have stayed elsewhere for the same or lower price.
