Getting there from the motorway was easy.

A friendly lady at reception and a nice gentleman who handled breakfast made the stay pleasant, and the location was lovely.

Good location and lovely decor. The food looked beautiful. The rooms felt a little dated and tired.

The bedroom was big, and the barman was the only friendly staff member. Apart from him, the reception was unwelcoming and unsmiling. There was a strong smell of smoke in the bedroom, the bathroom fittings were very tired, the food was truly bad, and the breakfast buffet was appalling and unimaginative.
