Breakfast was great, but connecting to Wi‑Fi was a problem; it didn’t seem to reach the room and inside the pub it was spotty.

The rooms are great and comfy; this is my third visit, the food is great, breakfast is very good; the staff and owners are very nice, approachable and helpful; I have a two‑year project that keeps me in the area for one to two nights a week, so this will be my go‑to if it’s available. The only downside is that mobile phone coverage is absolutely non‑existent in the area, but the establishments Wi‑Fi is good enough to stay in touch.

The food was lovely, but the noise from the adjoining bedroom was noticeable, and the rate posted behind the bar turned out to be quite different from what was advertised.

The location near Donnington was excellent, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was great, but the shower was a bit of a hassle, jumping from freezing to boiling hot depending on who else was using the tap.
