The central location made it easy to move around to various spots, but the internet was terrible, terrible.

The first time, the room we got wasn’t bad for the price we paid, but the second time it was a room with no ventilation and pure damp smell.

This family‑owned hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. We walked to the Centro Histórico in about 20 minutes, and the hotel is close to shops and supermarkets for daily needs. The nearest metropolitan bus station (Centro) sits beside a new modern mall complex—about a 15‑20 minute walk—and from there we could catch buses to Miraflores and Barranco if we didn’t want to use Uber or Cabify. Staying here let us see a small part of the city where locals live and work while still being able to reach the tourist sights we wanted.
