How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are helpful, but the house is noisy—guests above us constantly dragged their chairs or whatever across the floor. It’s not a suitable hotel for a dog used to green lawns, and the construction noise is especially bothersome.

The room was lovely and the balcony was great for mornings or evenings. This is one of Zurich’s most beautiful neighborhoods, within walking distance of the city center and the Opera House, surrounded by cafés and restaurants. The hotel is a gorgeous old building, beautifully renovated, and I’d pick it again without hesitation.

Das Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber. Das Bad ebenfalls groß und sehr sauber und zudem mit allem ausgestattet, was man/frau braucht, sehr viel Platz zum Ablegen. Das Frühstück war durchweg bio, frisch und ausreichend, der Kaffee für ein Hotel sehr lecker. Sehr ruhig

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the floor creaked whenever I walked, which was very uncomfortable, and there was no air conditioning. Additionally, when I requested housekeeping, they only cleaned the floor and the bathroom; the beds and other areas stayed unchanged.

The girls were very nice, the location near the lake and the city center is great, and the price is fair for the quality in Zürich. The only downside was that some fish were served at breakfast to compensate for the no‑meat policy.
