The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the many steps leading down to the beach, which I couldn’t use because of mobility issues. Also, the nearest shops and restaurants were a bit far.

The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are huge and spotless. I’d recommend Villa Espanhola to anyone visiting Praia do Bilene in Mozambique. The ocean is calm and the water crystal clear. It’s a great spot and safe, even with the language barrier. I’ll definitely return. The only downside is the breakfast isn’t generous; everything is just proportional—milk, eggs, cereal, coffee, etc. I’d suggest a buffet instead.
