“The water cistern outside the fence is unique.”
The spot was pretty good, giving us a handy overnight stop between Epupa Falls and Windhoek, and on the way to Windhoek we also checked out the cheetah conservation centre. The lodge has two pools that we enjoyed, the food was decent, and there’s a waterhole outside the dining area where antelopes come to drink at dinner—a beautiful, unique sight. The staff were polite, parking is right next to the room, and the Wi‑Fi works well. The room we got was cramped, the bathroom fixtures were broken but were fixed for us, and the door wobbles in the wind even when closed. The place has more potential than it currently shows; with a bit of effort, it could be significantly upgraded.
