The hotel's location was ideal for visiting Tikal, and I was grateful to Umberto who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The owner's kindness and attention to detail made me feel right at home, and their genuine interest in ensuring my comfort and satisfaction was truly impressive.
The room was immaculately cleaned every day, and our car was safely parked on the hotel's premises.

The location is good for going to Tikal and Yaxha, but it does not accept card payments.
“¡Una joya de hotel!”
The facilities are lovely and the atmosphere is tranquil; our room was perfect with a beautiful view of the lake. The hotel has the best location, with restaurants, shops, docks, and even an ATM just a few steps away, making it ideal for visiting archaeological sites and enjoying Lake Petén Itzá.
The rooms were spacious and clean, and the value for money was good. However, the room, though beautiful, was on the first floor and had no water, even though the owner had promised it would arrive in the evening. We had to take a shower in a different ground‑floor room.
We stayed only a few hours before heading out early for Tikal, and it was a really good stay with comfy beds. There were a lot of mosquitoes around and some in the rooms.
“Très bien”
The pool was very pleasant, the cabin was nice, and the location near the river kept us away from the busy center, so it was quiet. The only downside was that the music at the bar was too loud in the afternoon and evening.
