We adored the warm hospitality and authentic jungle vibe at Jungle Base Camp. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, even with the tough weather, and made us feel at home. The property is well kept while still letting you stay close to nature and Bardiya National Park. Hukum’s 33+ years of jungle experience really stood out; his knowledge gave us confidence in safety and guidance. The food was another highlight—everything was delicious, and the BBQ on request was especially good. Vauju and Babu were wonderful hosts and made the whole experience even more welcoming, even helping to make our birthday celebration feel truly special. It didn’t feel like a hotel at all; it felt like being invited into someone’s home. A fantastic spot for anyone seeking a peaceful, authentic jungle stay with great hospitality. The only thing we didn’t like was that the weather was rough during our visit, but the hosts did their best to keep us comfortable. The remote jungle setting means you should expect a simple, nature‑focused stay rather than a luxury resort, and that’s part of its charm.

The family was very friendly and would do anything to make your stay comfortable; the host is a safari guide with expert knowledge of the area. The accommodation is basic but clean and tidy, and it’s tucked among wild garden flowers.

What an amazing place, what an amazing family, and what an amazing experience! I loved it here; the hosts (including the son) are the nicest people, they treated me extremely well and helped me a lot. I did the safari and saw tigers, rhinos, and had so much fun. Totally recommended!
