The price was decent, but the smell of disinfectant filled the room, the black laundry was a problem, and dirt on the bathroom door was obvious; there was no toilet paper and the blinds were broken.

Nothing good; the last hole, mold, half‑painted walls, coldness, everything metal rusted, no TV, cold smoke mixed with disinfectant caused headaches, walls, doors, ceilings everywhere dirty, old and worn; something bit me at night with many red spots—I almost slept in my car. Two rooms were available, both worse than the other; I learned never to book cheap again. It was the worst stay. The student on the phone was very friendly and gave me a good orientation.

It wasn’t far from the motorway, a nice little village to walk around. The cleaning was very bad, dust everywhere and the toilet poorly cleaned. The whole building was poorly maintained, which is a shame because otherwise it’s nice. I didn’t like the dark/black sheets and towels; they felt off-putting.

The room had two new beds that were really good and the walls were freshly painted—that was the only positive. Never again—this is the worst “hotel” (pension) we’ve ever been to! We keep the new owners or tenants in mind because they only took over the place in 2025 and the renovation isn’t finished yet. But… there’s no reception. The hotel is always open 24/7, the door is always unlocked so anyone can get in—strange. You get a phone number, and via a detour you get a second one. If no one answers, you can’t get into the room because the room keys are stored in a safe at arrival and you need the combination. Then you just take a key out. No one checks if it’s the right one. The room’s furnishings were very sparse. Two new beds that were really good and the whole situation was barely salvaged, no storage or nightstand, one chair and a small Ikea table plus a wide window sill. There was no hair dryer, which is annoying. We quickly bought one at MediaMarkt. Unfortunately from Saturday morning around 10 am, when I was standing under the shower, until Sunday morning at 10 am, despite calling and WhatsApping the hotel management, there was no electricity in the entire room. So the hair dryer was useless. At night on Saturday when we returned from the event, no one answered the phone, neither the first nor the second number. On departure, it was already 23:30 on Saturday and we were almost out of time—we had to use our phone as a light and keep turning on the motion detector in front of the room window, which was counterproductive because the smoking area was in front of the room. The bathroom was definitely poorly or not cleaned at all. Blonde hair in the shower, thick dust on the toilet tank, in corners, on the drain pipes, on the sink. The towel rack was barely hanging on the wall and about to fall, the shelf under the mirror was rusty.

The only positive was that it was bad. Nothing else.
