The spot was great—close to everything yet far enough from the hustle to stay calm. The communication with the hosts was a nightmare: I tried the app, WhatsApp, and Line but only got auto‑responses. Things got worse when the host cancelled the booking mid‑stay, forcing us to chase them for an explanation and next steps because the place had shut down.

The flat was spotless, fully equipped, and the neighborhood was gorgeous and quiet. The problem was an automatic motion‑sensor light that would turn on while you slept, waking us up repeatedly until we taped a post‑it over it. I messaged the host about disabling it but got no reply during our four‑day stay in Tokyo.

The laundry machine was a plus. Everything else was a disaster: the owner showed zero interest, never answered, and the cleaning was awful. The photos promised a different reality.

The building is new and the Wi‑Fi is fast. The stairs are a bit cramped, but otherwise everything is fine.
