Longji One Art Hotel

A little slice of paradise amid the Longji Rice Terraces. This spot is absolutely amazing! It sits right in the heart of the terraces, surrounded by nature and stunning scenery. The whole building is made of wood and natural materials, giving it a magical country‑home vibe that blends perfectly with its surroundings. The people here are wonderful, warm, and welcoming, doing everything they can to make guests feel at home. The food is excellent, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the entire place has a very special charm and atmosphere. There’s a huge balcony and a swimming pool overlooking the magnificent terraces. Sitting there and enjoying the view is an experience that is hard to put into words. We simply didn’t want to leave! One small practical detail worth knowing in advance: because this is a rural wooden house, the plumbing system doesn’t allow toilet paper to be flushed down the toilet—it’s just part of the property’s nature. We truly felt as though we had discovered a little piece of paradise. An unforgettable experience. Highly recommended from the bottom of our hearts!

“温暖开心的短暂假期时光”

The host clearly put effort into creating a homely guesthouse, unlike typical commercial hotels; the personal touch is evident in every small detail that shows the host’s love for life. The host and her mother were warm and welcoming, making you feel truly at home. The meals tasted like home cooking and were especially delicious. The location itself offers views of the Dragon Ridge terraces from the windows, so you don’t even need to step outside to enjoy the scenery. Overall, I was very satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend it.

A true love‑at‑first‑glance in Longji. The hotel is stunning, almost a work of art on its own, with a lot of charm in the décor and style. It sits amid the terraced rice paddies and offers an absolutely superb view that never tires. Spring, the hostess, made our stay even more special. She is adorable, attentive, and very available. Because the hotel isn’t directly accessible by car (about a 10‑minute walk from the parking), she organized the entire round‑trip from our hotel in central Guilin, with a driver and a porter for the luggage, which made the arrival very simple. Upon arrival she welcomed us with regional tea and fresh passionfruit—seasonal and delicious. She also gave us excellent advice on the different hiking trails in Longji, explaining the options with a hand‑drawn map prepared by the hotel. She even took our dietary restrictions into account for dinner, which was excellent. The room was very cosy, full of charm and especially photogenic, with a direct view of the terraced rice paddies. Waking up to that scenery is truly a unique experience and one of my most beautiful memories of staying in China.
