Azura Hotel

The TV never worked; they claimed there was a hotel‑wide issue being fixed, but it was obvious it had been broken for years. Booking gave me a room on the 13th floor with no window, and the lift only reaches the 12th floor. The actual rate there is 350,000 VND, yet I paid 278,000 VND on Booking, which advertised a huge discount as if the room cost 600,000 VND – a big lie that landed me the worst room.

For the price, everything is fine. Rooms without windows are acceptable for a few nights, but after that they become oppressive.

The hotel’s location was good, the cleaning staff tried their best even though everything was already old, and the bed was comfortable. The room was tired and needed repairs; only two towels were provided, and they were more like rags, making it hard to freshen up in the shower. The sound level in the room was like being outside; later they found the cause: there was no glass in the window, just a wardrobe covering it. The balcony was tiny, only suitable for drying clothes.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, especially the reception team, which was wonderful 🙏. The cleaning staff were good, but I think they could be a bit better.
