The house has a fabulous charm and is perfect for a family stay, but the traffic noise on the nearby road is a bit annoying.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our road trip through the Basque Country. The stay exceeded our expectations! The host was super friendly and helpful, making us feel comfortable and relaxed. He also gave activity tips and helped us navigate public transport, which is much easier than driving in an area with few parking spots. The kitchen always has a drink or a small snack for guests. You can use the whole house, including a nice kitchen, a pleasant living room, quiet spots for reading, a TV room… It really feels like home. Breakfast was fine, complemented by fruit from the garden, and the beds were comfortable. The house was very tidy. The only downside is its location next to the road. Honestly, it wasn’t a big deal—during the day you hear the traffic, at night there’s almost none, so it didn’t bother us. The house and the host more than make up for the road noise, making the stay definitely worth it!
