Breakfast was varied and abundant, the restaurant staff were attentive and cheerful, and the central location near the train station made getting around easy; however, the room and bathroom were tiny, cleanliness was only average, they didn’t provide slippers unless we asked, and the sink was clogged for five days with no attempt to fix it.

The spot was great, we could walk everywhere. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the staff were smiling. We were very satisfied. We went in August, and the rooms were cold and didn’t heat up.

Hotel Radison Red Oslo City Centre sits in an excellent spot just a few steps from the main street, and the city can be explored easily on foot. The building is very nice and offers a good breakfast. The room’s cleanliness could have been more thorough. The sheets in the morning should be well‑tucked and the pillowcases, besides being reorganised, should be changed more often.

The location is fantastic, just a few blocks from the Opera with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, and I was thrilled to discover that this is one of the rare hotels that will take three adults in a single room, which worked perfectly for our family of five; everything else was flawless.
