“Igényes, jól felszerelt, tiszta, jó ár/érték arányú szálláshely.”
The Almási Öregmalom is truly a lodging created from an old water mill, having undergone extensive renovation and transformation perhaps in the early 1900s; the building sits within a spacious, well‑maintained enclosed park, with elegant décor that suits the house’s character everywhere. Its location is very close to the Danube, and on the river side there is a large terrace that offers a wonderful view of the Danube, making it ideal for outdoor dining or relaxing when the weather is good. In peak season they likely provide dining options for guests, as the ground‑floor lounge/dining room’s furnishings and equipment suggest. Our room was spacious, bright, clean, and well equipped, and the host kindly gave us an extra bottle of mineral water. The bathroom was larger than average, and we had no complaints about cleanliness. The booking process was flexible and simple, with the host striving to simplify administrative procedures as much as possible. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, refined, well‑furnished accommodation for a few days or longer; its capacity makes it suitable for small companies or family‑friendly events. A special highlight is the memorial room dedicated to Dr. Entz László, who was not only an excellent surgeon but also a highly talented amateur actor who ran a wonderful acting circle in Dunalamás for over 20 years. I had no complaints.
