The villa was gorgeous, clean, cozy and spacious with fantastic amenities; we enjoyed our own sauna, cold plunge, and indoor/outdoor onsens. The buffet was great, though a bit limited, and the privacy walls were too high, blocking the onsen views.

We liked being able to eat whenever we wanted, and the meals were superb, especially the steak and abalone at dinner, which were perfectly cooked; the view from the room could be better— it would be nice to see more of Beppu Bay and the town.

I had a pretty good stay here, the rooms were huge and super clean, which was a big plus for me. However, the food got a bit repetitive - breakfast and dinner were the same every day, which got old quickly, especially for longer stays. It would be great if they could mix things up a bit more.

This place was amazing, it had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. No complaints here, it was really great.

The accommodation was top-notch, we loved staying here. However, the last part of the journey to the hotel was a bit of a challenge - the hill was really steep. Our room was spacious and our kids loved it, but there was some dust and dirt in the corners and under the table, so a thorough vacuum would be a good idea. The humidifier was appreciated during winter, but the air conditioning needed some tweaks to avoid dryness.
