Excellent breakfast and a charming host who let me check in early after just coming off the ferry from Roscoff. A nice, friendly atmosphere with a happy Dutch family enjoying an Irish breakfast. The only downside was the shampoo in the bathroom.

A warm welcome greeted us, and the room was huge with a stunning view. The lady at breakfast was very attentive, and the breakfast itself was excellent 🙂 The place was incredibly peaceful and quiet, and we even got to meet the little dog Lola ❤️ We were very happy with our stay.

I was blown away by Claire and Martin, the hosts who made this place feel like a true Bed and Breakfast. They were on site in their own home, which was absolutely lovely. My room had an extra‑large bathtub and a comfy bed, and the view from the property was stunning. It was only an 8‑minute drive to Kinsale. Claire gave us amazing advice on the best route for our next leg, which is what you expect from a genuine B&B—locals who know the area and are happy to share. Thank you, Claire and Martin! Many good blessings to you and your family. Every single detail was spot on perfect!

“Lovely guest house - we would definitely return.”

The location was stunning and really peaceful, except for the hundreds of crows. The host was extremely welcoming and everything went smoothly. Even though they weren’t serving breakfast, there was a coffee machine for us to use, and freshly baked scones and cakes were laid out in the morning—fantastic! The room could use a fresh coat of paint on the bedroom ceiling. A few bathroom fixtures were hanging loose, the shelf above the sink fell off, and the shower needed attention. There were no coat hooks, so we had no hanging space. These are just small tweaks; we would definitely return if we were in the area.
