For our first visit to Hanoi we stayed at this hotel in the Old Quarter, which spreads across three buildings with one room per floor. After traveling to Sapa and a cruise on Ha Long Bay we returned because the staff were so friendly and helpful; they booked our night bus to Sapa and a one‑night cruise on the bay, handling everything flawlessly. The only downside was that the area was lively and some rooms didn’t block noise as well as others.

The hotel is beautiful, centrally located, close to the lake, and a Yemeni‑Pakistani halal restaurant is a 10‑minute walk away. The only downside is the traffic congestion.

The location is superb, great value for money, and the hotel next door offers hearty breakfasts (included with the room option). The staff are very friendly.
