I booked a cheap room, and honestly that’s what I got – a small room, as expected. Everything else was excellent: the staff, the room itself, and the breakfast.

Damon greeted us warmly, was helpful and a fantastic host, making sure we were taken care of. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options and conveniently located for the Goodwood Revival, yet still close enough to the coast for a walk. We were assigned a room at the front of the property, right by the road, so it was noisy and we didn’t sleep well. Anyone else planning to book should double‑check the room’s location and, if it’s at the front, bring earplugs.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The cooked breakfast was excellent and offered a good variety. The only downside is that the place feels a little dated.
