The hotel is in transition, no guests, breakfast was terrible. No German-speaking staff.

I’m not surprised the hotel feels like a relic; thirty years ago it must have been a luxury temple. The only room that was passable was room 3. The taxi driver warned that the hotel would close and be demolished soon, which explains a lot. The price was high and didn’t match the hotel’s condition.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly, suitable for one or two nights, especially room 201. The bed was old and needs renovation.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which is huge. The whirlpool is nice but a bit dated. The bed is a “floor” bed, which I personally don’t like but it was acceptable. The balcony offers a stunning view. The interior feels a bit outdated, making the suite somewhat expensive, but a few updates could help. The restaurant is excellent and its view is amazing, and the staff are friendly. Nothing major is wrong, just some small tweaks that would improve the overall experience.
