How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location was great, especially for kids, and everything inside was clean. You could use the toilet inside the hotel, which was a nice touch. On the downside, the bathroom had a terrible stench, especially in that cramped space. The houseboat outside looked neglected and dirty. The stairs needed fixing, and some walls were broken. The wardrobes were full of old blankets and covers.

The surroundings were nice. However, the bed at the head of the bed smelled like vomit, making it impossible to sleep. The upper kitchen cabinet had cigarette ash. There was mold in the shower area. The cleaning was so poor it was almost unrecognizable. The photos were misleading; the place really needs a full renovation.

The evening atmosphere on the Moldau was very appealing. Unfortunately, the boat and its furnishings were very worn, somewhat damaged, and not very clean. There was no toilet on the boat. The enjoyment of the evening on the Moldau was marred by open, still-off-gassing paint cans on the back of the boat and a broken ladder to the dilapidated terrace deck. The road on the opposite bank is heavily trafficked, even in the very early morning, which severely disrupts the idyll and nighttime quiet. Worst of all, the double bunk’s wall side smells intensely like sewer or concentrated animal urine, making it impossible to sleep there. Overall, it was more like a basic campsite with disgusting potential, and at a horrible price. We were disappointed; we had been looking forward to the stay. The image used to advertise the boat does not match the reality.

We liked the place. It was far from the city center, unstable, and unfortunately we booked too late and found nothing nearby.

The idea was very nice. We didn’t expect any luxury, but the cleaning really deserved better. From mold and mildew in the fridge to hair in the shower, dust and used tissues under the bed, toothpaste on the tap, and a used rag for dishes including the last set of dishes, it was all off. We won’t comment much on breakfast; we understand the owners are supposedly starting a business.
