The location was good, though any spot in Brighton would have sufficed; the room was not very clean, which is unacceptable for a budget hotel, and we felt overcharged because a conference was starting on Monday, yet the price was far above its real value. For backpackers, the place is acceptable.

The free wifi was very good, but the self‑check‑in system was inconvenient and awkward, with no staff or desk on site. The room was dirty, covered with a large patch of bird droppings on the window, and the shared toilet was not disclosed in the booking. I will not return. The kettle had to be plugged into a floor extension because there were no wall sockets, which is a health and safety concern.

Location was good, view was good, but the size of the bed was awful, flooring was like down the, not strait level. Flooring level and bed
