The setting offers a picturesque view and a quiet atmosphere, with friendly staff, clean linens and towels, and a café where you can order breakfast. You can also feed the capybaras, and the rooms feature bathtubs with hot water. The team warned us not to feed or pet the meerkats because they might bite. Rice fields surround the hotel; we visited during the rice‑harvest season, which turns the view into a swamp. The pool water, however, wasn’t very clean.

The location is amazing and beautiful, and the rooms are huge and luxurious. The staff are kind, and the presence of capybaras makes it even more amazing—10/10, or even 20/10 if you count the animals!

We loved everything – the rooms were spacious and gorgeous, and the rice‑field view was so calming. The pool was fantastic, the staff were friendly and the animals adorable, making it feel like a little slice of paradise just 45 minutes from Chiang Mai, so we ended up extending our stay because we felt so comfortable. The only downside was the limited restaurant menu; three dishes were missing and with nothing nearby to eat, a broader selection would have been welcome.
