“Wunderschöne Natur-Idylle, traumhafte Unterwasserwelt”
The location was beautiful, with a house reef right outside for snorkeling—a dream. It was very quiet, only the sea could be heard. The balcony with a hammock was lovely for relaxing. The resort was only a 10‑minute walk to the village, where a few restaurants and warungs were available. The “boat team” was very well organized, attentive, and accompanied us on snorkeling and diving tours, creating a great atmosphere. Management was present but subtle; you had to seek out information. The all‑inclusive food was modest, especially in the mornings when I often felt it was insufficient. The other meals were heavy and somewhat monotonous. The village menus impressed me more with their freshness. Bungalows were rustic and simple; towels were not changed, which would have been a nice service given the humidity. The facilities were a bit old. The resort caters to divers, and as a snorkeler I had to join them, which isn’t a problem per se, but it wasn’t clear at booking.
