The hotel’s location and rooms were fine, but the whole stay was ruined by the front desk’s dishonest billing and lousy service. When we arrived, they insisted on a hidden 5% surcharge that could only be paid by credit card, and then demanded an extra 10% fee to issue a VAT invoice, even though the 10% VAT was already in the room rate. The receptionist didn’t help and gave no official policy explaining those extra charges.
