The property seemed like a cheap refurbishment. The real frustration was arriving after 10:00 and finding the TV unusable; it kept insisting I connect to the Internet, but the signal was too weak for any TV program, antenna, streaming, or cable. The shower curtain was too short, letting water spill onto the floor. When I reported it, the front desk said I could get more towels at the office and that I just needed to connect to the Internet. I was in the farthest room from the office, and it was nearly midnight. For $200 I expected a working TV and a shower that stayed inside the tub. I’ve stayed at a Motel 6 that was better and 70% cheaper. I felt ripped off. The bed was rock hard.

The room was a good size, and I liked that it had an east‑facing door and a west‑facing door. I could move my chair outside for morning sun, and when both doors were open, a pleasant breeze flowed through. The location was great. The pool looked a bit murky, so I didn’t go in.
