The place is conveniently located near public transport and coffee shops, and the top‑floor room was a decent size with good windows—perfect for a heatwave. It was very quiet and faced the rear gardens. The downside was that I couldn’t really use the kitchen because the host was always home and the door stayed shut.

Right next to Finsbury Park. Lovely host. London heat is insane.

The place was super friendly and well located, but I wish I’d known it was a smoking flat; even though the room is separated, the cold tobacco smell came through quite often.
