Desa Hay feels like a tiny tropical oasis. With only six private villas, the vibe is intimate and tranquil, perfect for a real escape. Once the clock hits 9 p.m., the music stops and the whole place turns wonderfully quiet. Each villa sits in its own private garden, surrounded by walls that keep the space cool and give total privacy. We stayed in August and never had to crank up the air‑conditioning. The modern wooden design is simply stunning, and every detail is thoughtfully arranged to blend luxury with nature. The villa is roomy and fully equipped, and the bathroom is spectacular, boasting a large walk‑in shower, double sinks, and gorgeous finishes. Outside, every villa has its own patio with a plunge pool, a hammock, and even an outdoor bathtub—truly a secluded tropical sanctuary. Yoga mats are supplied for morning sessions. Even though we felt fully immersed in nature, Desa Hay is only about a ten‑minute drive or scooter ride from Pererenan Beach. What really sets this place apart is the people. Every staff member is genuinely kind, warm, and attentive, dropping thoughtful little touches each day that make you feel truly welcome. The hospitality level is outstanding, and every detail is handled with great care. The organization is flawless. You can reach the hotel anytime via WhatsApp, and an iPad is provided in the villa, making everything even more convenient. The food deserves a special mention. As Italians, we have high culinary expectations, and we were genuinely impressed. Every meal was absolutely delicious, so congratulations to the entire kitchen team. We also enjoyed a massage during our stay, and it was another wonderful experience. Honestly, we couldn’t find even the smallest flaw throughout our stay.

The staff were amazing, the food was delicious, and I really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The atmosphere was perfect. I also arranged a surprise with flowers for my wife, and everything was prepared beautifully, which made the moment even more special. The only downside is that it is a little far from the beach, and there is not much space for sunbathing. However, we preferred going to the beach or to beach clubs for that anyway.
