It was extremely loud at night, both inside the hotel and from outside, and sleeping was terrible.

I feel completely at ease in this hotel; the rooms are clean, bright, and welcoming, though not very large, which doesn't bother me. The location is fantastic—tram to the pedestrian zone stops right outside the door—and there are plenty of parking spots. The only downside is the tram outages, but that’s beyond the hotel’s control.

The lone ranger at reception deserves absolute recognition for being highly professional, friendly, and helpful. The behavior of some guests, however, was simply shameful.

The setting is lovely and quiet. Unfortunately, the mattresses kept shifting, the elevator worked only sporadically, and breakfast was a bit dull—no croissants or scrambled eggs on Monday.
