“Good place to crash for the night driving.”
It was the weekend, and there was barely any bread or coffee. The cleaning could have been more thorough; the beds were okay, but the bathroom and floors were somewhat dirty.

It’s close to restaurants, but I couldn’t use the pool because there were too many flood workers there, which was a bit of a joke.

Mid‑August in South Texas, the AC was turned on when no one was in the room, so I walked in and it was 84 °F. I told the front desk, they moved me to a different room, but it was still 84 °F. It didn’t drop below 75 °F until about 10 pm. The elevator is broken, so if you’re not on the first floor you’re in trouble.

The bathroom was disgusting: the countertop hadn’t been cleaned, there was a used bar of soap and a puddle of dried soapy water on it, the toilet had awful pee stains around the bottom where it met the floor, the baseboards were dirty, and the tub had mildew.
