Brooke greeted us with a beautiful smile when we arrived late at night, and the staff were endlessly friendly—thanks a lot. The pool was amazing, and I liked the vending machine at reception.

Breakfast was fairly varied.

The staff tried to make amends after I complained and even offered an upgrade, but I couldn’t accept it after seeing what I saw. The hotel was filthy and dusty. They added a $100 deposit on top of the stay fee, and the cleanliness was horrendous. Lights were broken in the rooms, chairs were torn, and handprints covered the elevators. Hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. Old soap scum clung to the bedroom bathroom faucet, and handprints and spots marred the bedroom doors. The bedsheets looked crumpled and unchanged, shower heads were dirty, and there was leftover hair on the bathroom countertop. A pink ring was inside the sink. I felt very uncomfortable and didn’t trust staying there after witnessing the lack of cleanliness.

The room was tidy and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was included and pretty good, but there were no non‑pork options; the kitchen didn’t restock Turkey sausage and had plenty of pork items that I don’t eat. Cleaning staff helped me locate a lost piece of jewelry. However, the front desk made payment difficult and was unhelpful. The stay started with a lot of irritation because staff couldn’t explain payment procedures. I was charged for water bottles that were complimentary on my first stay, yet I never touched them because I brought my own. Watch out for checkout charges. No assistance was given to carry my bags to the room; I had to act as my own bellhop. Homeless people slept around the property, so be careful where you park, though the lot is well lit in most spots. The room refrigerator didn’t keep anything cold even after I set it to high.

The staff were friendly and the bartender/server was great. I didn’t expect a dining option at the hotel, but it was very nice and casual. I was tired and didn’t have to go out. The breakfast cost $17, which seemed a bit steep, and I really wished there was a jacuzzi.
