The hot spring was old but the size and number of showers were decent; the water felt good. The room was also old but spacious, and once you get used to it, it was fairly comfortable. The owner, or the elderly woman who handled the service, was friendly and pleasant. The toilet was shared, the washbasin had no running water, and since the place is run by an elderly couple, I understand that some detailed services might not be possible.

The spot was great, but the bed frame was smaller than the futon, so when the futon was on top it tended to shift and create a step, making it a bit hard to sleep.
