Everything, from the welcome (before arrival and during the stay) to the spacious rooms with all comforts, to the truly beautiful location surrounded by greenery and quiet, with the option to eat on site. The breakfast is also excellent.

“Schöne Anlage mit einem schönen interessanten Schloss.”

I stayed at a lovely property with an intriguing castle where the owner lives, and we were allowed to tour it—thanks! Our room was a small wooden house with a large terrace overlooking the mountains. The only issue was that the bathroom door didn’t lock properly.

We spent three nights at La Fortezza Alta. At the end of our stay, we can say that Marta, who welcomed us and accompanied us throughout, was very kind, courteous, and always present. The place has great potential that isn’t fully realized. Some areas, like the breakfast room and the cottage we stayed in, were a bit untidy. Inside the cottage, we found the sheets stained and the soap dishes in the shower were quite dirty and worn. Overall, the stay went well, but these small details could enhance the property and improve guests’ experiences.

“Tutto perfetto”

Breakfast was excellent, both sweet and savory. The in‑room jacuzzi and the exclusive indoor pool were a treat. Marta, the host, was very kind and helpful, and most importantly, the place was silent.

The view is extraordinary, but the staff’s welcome was minimal; we checked in on our own and would have appreciated a more detailed explanation of the premises.
