How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.

The owners are very kind and helpful, letting us choose from three different higher‑class rooms. The daughter enjoyed the pool. We would have liked a fridge in the room, and in the whole town you have to guard yourself against mosquitoes.

“Parfait”

We stayed for 3 nights in August. The rooms were well equipped and clean (perhaps a little tight for suitcases). We could rent bikes on site to visit Anuradhapura. The hosts were very friendly, took a lot of time to chat with us and make our stay easier. We keep a great memory of this family atmosphere. Breakfasts are exceptional and varied each day, letting you discover a wide range of Sri Lankan specialties. A great address we highly recommend!

“Super fijne plek geweldig lieve mensen”

A super nice place to be. Super sweet people who keep this hotel open. The woman cooks wonderfully! A very good spot to explore the surroundings. A comfortable, tidy room. Maybe a spot to just sit or something. The pool was a bit inconveniently placed at the entrance, so we didn’t use it.

The food was decent. The staff were reasonably friendly. The place operates as a homestay, not a resort. The facilities didn’t match the promotional images exactly, and the view wasn’t what we expected.

“Schönes, kleines, gemütliches Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Alles, was wichtig ist, ist da!”

Very friendly, helpful staff, tasty breakfast, comfortable bed, super quiet air‑conditioning. We were offered a larger room free of charge. Thanks for that! The location was perfect for us, being outside and thus very quiet. With a TukTuk you could reach any spot within 10 minutes for a small fee. Everything was perfect. No complaints.
