“Blessed to stay at the property”
The design is unique for a boutique hotel, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The property sits in an excellent spot, close to Rupali Square for chats and lassi, near the airport, and near a great hotel for food.
Very nice, but the rooms were a let‑down.
Cleanliness was great, but tea lovers might be disappointed because it was only machine‑made.
The rooms, cleanliness, staff behaviour, and location are all good. The breakfast options are limited, and there is no running restaurant; instead, food is delivered via room service from a cloud kitchen for a set time during lunch and dinner.
“Misleading Bed Sizes, but Redeemed by Honest Management and Good Facilities”
The bed sizes were misleading, but the honest management and good facilities made up for it. I stayed at Hotel Chandan Heritage in Bhubaneswar from June 18 to June 22, 2026 (4 nights) in a Family Room booked for 3 adults. The “Family Suite/Room” was not built to accommodate three adults, even though the listing claimed it had two large double beds. We arrived late on June 18 at about 9:45 PM because of the Vande Bharat train schedule, and the staff gave us an extra floor mattress when we realized the beds wouldn’t fit all three of us. The beds advertised as 151–180 cm wide turned out to be only 114 cm wide (essentially single/twin) and 208 cm long, with a fixed small side table between them, so a second adult would slip off the edge. On the second night around 11:00 PM the night staff tried to charge an extra ₹300 per night for the mattress, saying it wasn’t included; when we hesitated they first said they would remove it entirely, but later offered a sincere apology for the inconvenience and the way the late‑night situation was handled, which we appreciated. The next morning we spoke to the manager, who was very friendly and fully transparent about the setup and showed us another room to explain that “Family Suite” referred to a larger room layout rather than larger beds.
