1. The water pressure in the shower is too low, making it difficult to rinse off all the soap. Also, the shower area is not separated from the rest of the bathroom. 2. The floor is uneven. 3. The mirror is crooked and has fallen off several times. Fortunately, I was able to catch it each time. This is a serious safety concern

“Relaxing vibe on a weekend with friends, really nice staff and amenities”

We were a girls’ trip, enjoyed the adult pool’s quiet vibe, had cocktails by the pool, and the fish tacos with corn salsa were great; the room was pleasant and the bar lively. The only drawback was that the bathroom was far from the adult pool, about a 2‑minute walk and two card‑key gates; the main pool had a bathroom right in the gated area, so it would have been better if the adult pool had one too.

“Will definitely stay there again!”

Choosing this motel was perfect for grandparents bringing their grandchild; they’ve done a fantastic job renovating it. I liked that everything was on site, so you never have to leave the property – the pools, restaurant and bar were all very nice. However, it seems there used to be an easier way from the adult‑only pool to the bathrooms, but now many guests have to walk all the way around the outside area through the main pool just to reach the bathrooms.

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful location with a great kids pool and restaurant despite dated rooms.”

We were happy that our dog could stay with us and the kids’ pool had free cabanas. The older motor lodge rooms show their age: the bathroom is tiny, fixtures are old, and the shower dripped all day. There are no surfaces for a toiletry bag, no hooks or towel space, no phones – you must call the front desk on your cell. The front desk answered the phone only about 25 % of the times I called.

“Will stay here again on our next trip to Calistoga!”

We booked the camper studio for a long weekend and it turned out to be a clean, spacious, and comfy room with excellent amenities. The pool was lovely, and the spa services were great. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options at the restaurant were solid. Downtown is roughly a 15‑minute walk or even quicker by bike, and the front desk even rents bikes. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. The only downside was the shower in the camper studio being small and the curtains not preventing water from splashing onto the floor.
