The spot is in a great area and the staff are friendly, plus the price is solid for what you get. But the building itself is pretty ugly, looks like it hasn't been cared for in ages. The toilet was broken, there was a bad smell, and overall the place just wasn't clean or well maintained.

The rooms are basic, but the breakfast tops all the hostels I've been to in Argentina—worth every cent. On the downside, no towels are supplied, the men's bathroom needs a makeover (the women's one is already updated), and the kitchen could use a cleaner touch.
