Everything about the place worked fine – no complaints about the facilities, the kitchen was well equipped, and the host even brought us a blender when we asked. The rooms were spotless, the bed comfy, storage ample, and the overall vibe was pleasant. Being from London, I can say the location is superb, with plenty of transport links and a 15‑20 minute ride to central London, which is fast by London standards. The neighbourhood feels safe and attractive, perfect for walks to nearby parks and the Thames. A large supermarket and restaurants are just a five‑minute stroll away. The host was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. We stayed for a month, and the only gripe was that the price seemed a bit high for a building with just five rooms, which sometimes felt hostel‑like. Knowing that beforehand might have made us less enthusiastic, but my partner and I enjoy meeting people, so it was fine; we just wished for a bit more privacy.

The amenities were calm. The ground‑floor bedroom had a bathroom and toilet that were shared with other tenants, so we used the same toilet as the other guests.
