The location was ideal for watching the Poya parade and the price‑to‑value ratio was decent; when Pick Me didn’t work the next day, the manager still helped us locate a van. Yet, despite Booking’s mistake of reserving four beds for five people when a six‑person dorm was expected, the room was disappointing—mirrors were so dirty you could barely see yourself, mattresses and pillowcases hadn’t been cleaned (our clean faces from the night before turned green on the cotton), and no sheets were provided.

The reception was very warm and pleasant, and the guest house is close to the temples. The room and bathroom were clean. It’s a great spot that I highly recommend, offering good value.
