I didn’t get the chance to like anything because it was closed. I arrived at the hotel and it was all shuttered with a small sign saying call this number; I couldn’t use my phone as I didn’t have a local SIM card, so I had to walk around and find another hotel on a very hot day. I was not happy at all.

Just a quick note: the hotel is within walking distance of all the main attractions, and there are no other complaints.

The room was fine—nothing bad at all. The only downside was that there’s no elevator, so I had to pay 200K VD just to move from the 5th floor where I booked to the 3rd floor.

The place is close to everything, has good air‑conditioning, and the bed is comfy (I like mattresses that aren’t too soft and don’t warp the back). The manager at reception can exchange money at the best rate. The downsides are that there’s no elevator, the room feels a bit dated, the ventilation unit is noisy, and there’s music outside that quiets down around 2–3 am; if you’re into partying or staying right next to the noise it’s fine. The shower isn’t separate from the toilet, so you get wet everywhere each time.

This tiny hotel is really well situated, especially if it’s your first visit to HCM. You’ll be close to everything you need—convenient shops, restaurants, the subway, BT market, and the busiest nightlife street in Saigon—yet not so close that you’re disturbed by the noise. The rooms are fairly large, super clean, and fully equipped (internet, teapot, flat‑screen TV, Netflix, AC, fan, fridge, and hairdryer). All of this comes at a very fair price. The owner is friendly, patient, and helpful, so in its category this hotel is definitely the best deal in town.
