The place is pretty. The staff are lovely and the food is good. There are a lot of stairs to reach the room.

Casale Panayiotis, perched on Troodos slopes in Marathasa Valley, fuses traditional Cypriot houses. Rooms overlook a courtyard or mountains, featuring fireplaces, smart TVs, and Wi‑Fi. The spa offers sauna, steam, and treatments. Byzantine cuisine, an English breakfast café, wine bar, and snack bar enrich the stay. Nearby, historic churches, St. John Lampadistis monastery, hiking trails, and Kykkos Monastery are accessible.

I was struck by the typical Cypriot vibe, from the accommodation to the food, and the covered wooden balcony was a nice touch.

The bed was fantastically large and comfortable. The interior design of the room was well thought out. The hotel layout is beautiful and fun to explore. The breakfast offered is good indeed, especially the yoghurt and toppings to go with it. The staff are great, orifessi and attentive. And we loved the cats!. The bizantino restaurant's meze was appalling, which pains me to say. It focused more on quantity over quality and execution of flavour. Some of the dishes made no sense, such as the rice and trout, and the black eyed peas which were undercooked. In general, everything was under seasoned. The shower had nowhere to hang towels well enough so they dry, they remained wet. The bathroom sink didn't drain well. The walls aren't very sound proof

The restaurant and spa were excellent, but the town itself offers little beyond that; still, it makes a great long‑weekend spot.

The village was lovely and the rooms gave perfect views, plus the spa was very comfortable and never crowded—everything was flawless.
