“Uma estadia marcada por problemas de conservação, conforto e estrutura, que comprometeram nossa expe”
We loved the location, the hotel’s facilities, and the cleanliness, and we paid extra for breakfast at the on‑site Caju café. Unfortunately, the stay fell short of expectations: the room had a strong mold odor and visible water damage, which we photographed. When we told the owner, she said it was just a fresh coat of paint after a repair. Because the city is so hot, we kept the AC on, but the smell forced us to open the window, bringing in many mosquitoes even with repellant. Supervisor Patrícia, very attentive, made a makeshift mosquito net from a piece of anti‑mosquito material, which helped a lot and we appreciate her effort. The mattresses were too soft and the twin bed’s slats were broken. We were traveling with our 3‑year‑old son, who had a bout of bronchitis and fever during the trip. Out of the 12 vacation days, 4 were spent worrying about him. We hope these issues are checked and fixed so future guests won’t face the same experience. We’re not trying to harm anyone, just sharing what we went through.
