At least the shower worked, it was quiet, and we managed to sleep there (without pillows and in patched, stained sheets that clearly didn’t come out in the wash). Unfortunately the host was not on site but in Paris, and no one had greeted us. The whole property looked very neglected and unkempt; we had to cover the beds ourselves. Even though we had paid in advance, no breakfast was served or prepared. We were received by an intoxicated neighbour, and we ended up having to call the host three times. The accommodation smelled unpleasant, and the mattresses and pillows were bad. There was no coffee or tea, only tap water. The glasses and dishes were sticky and not truly clean. The floor was dusty and dirty. The rooms were cluttered with a jumble of items. It was a complete letdown in every respect. The place should not be offered in this condition without supervision.
