The staff were friendly, and the pool and gardens were lovely. The room had no AC, and the noise after midnight woke us up.

The place is beautifully secluded, mostly inhabited by locals, and it feels safe and quiet. The bathroom tiles are a bit worn, and from the hotel’s viewpoint the city’s streets are littered with plastic bottles and packaging, including glass bottles.
