The setting was very good, yet waiting up to an hour for food, inconsistent meals, and poor service with staff not taking orders correctly were frustrating; the rooms were unclean, with what looked like lime‑black mold in the bathroom, and the hotel’s maintenance was lacking.

The breakfast buffet was always amazing with plenty of variety, the pool was huge and we practically had it to ourselves, the lifeguard gave my kids goggles and donut rafts, we enjoyed the lake shore, waves, and breeze, and the staff were friendly and helpful; they set up a big TV by the pool for the World Cup, the beds were super comfortable and the AC worked well, but the restaurant food was ridiculously expensive, the pizza was gross, the chicken wings were decent but not worth reordering, the pasta carbonara with chicken was delicious and reasonably priced, and although my room was supposed to have a lake view, we were on the hotel side with barely any view, yet I didn’t complain or ask for a change.

The location was lovely and amazing, staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great, and overall it was a great experience, though the internet was slow and unreliable.
