“Gute Lage”

The tent room was pretty funny but the camping chairs were already worn out; the location is great and the café in the building is nice. The bathroom, especially the wall tiles, needs urgent cleaning, as does the communal refrigerator—it was pretty gross.

The reception didn’t give a special tour of the room or surroundings, but they replied kindly to any questions. The room’s vibe is very relaxing, the Bluetooth speakers work with your phone, the camping chair is comfortable, and reading in the room is super chill. There’s a café and bar downstairs, but the room stays quiet. The shampoo is great. The space feels open, the floor is clean, there are enough sockets, and the lighting is good. The day before check‑out, I lifted the toilet seat and found it covered in urine stains… some towels had yellow spots (but I didn’t use them because I brought my own). The bath mat looked dusty, and there was trash in the bed seams of the tent.

The bed was pretty good; for a backpacker hostel it’s comfortable and not cramped. The bathroom floor was scary—probably people brought back sand from the beach and washed it in, so it’s sandy and sticky, and it can clog and flood when you shower.
